Dear Sir,

Kindly Tell me whether a client who is Rendering AMC service From India to a client in USA shall be liable to collect service tax or not??

Note: The Amount Received in US Dollars.

01 March 2012 service tax is exempt on export of service as per rule 3 of export of service rules 2005. No need to pay any service tax on the amount received either in INR or USD. Only you have to provide details in the service tax return for the service exported.
