01 June 2010 My LIC Premium was due on 31/03/2010 but I paid it on 01/04/2010, shall I consider and take the exemption u/s 80C of this payment for the A Y 2010-11 ?

I will be thankfull if somebody reply to my query.

01 June 2010 The deduction will be given on payment basis. You can claim the deduction for AY 2011-2012.
