My Firm purchases materials, assembles them and then sells them. while selli ng they also provide Installation service for which they charge Service tax. the material Purchased are subject to Exicse Duty. Can they get setoff of Service Tax against Excise duty paid.

You can not avail these cenvat credit of input for duty payment of service tax.
