My one client (Private Limited Company) wants to registration on Central Excise. He is doing business of coal trading and in future he want to establish Coal Washri Plant. Please suggest me whether he is liable to registration under central excise or not

for coal trading no excise registration required. and for another you have to see if any mfg. process exist then yopu have to take excise registration
