A firm pays excise duty on ayurvedic medicines based on Qty manufactured

The ER-1 return shall be filed within 10 days from the close of the month to which the return relates. However where the assessee has availed the benefit of the notification providing exemption based on value of clearance in a financial year, he shall file the return within 10 days after the end of quarter.
