15 April 2012 IS REVISED SCHEDULE VI IS APPLICABLE FOR JUNE 2012 EXAMS FOR CS EXECUTIVE AND IPCC/PCC?

PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IT'S URGENT.

Important Announcement for PCC/IPCC & Final Students

This is to bring to the attention of students that the Revised Schedule VI to the Companies Act, 1956 issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 28th February, 2011 pertaining to the preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account under the Companies Act, 1956 for the financial year commencing on or after 1.4.2011 shall not be applicable for the PCC, IPCC and Final examinations to be held in May 2012.

Clarification on applicability of Schedule VI of Companies Act, 1956 for June 2012 Examination

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) under notifications number S.O. 447(E) and 653(E) dated 28th February, 2011 and 30.03.2011 respectively notified that the annual accounts for the financial year ending 31st March 2012 shall be prepared in accordance with the revised Schedule VI.

Since any amendment coming into force before six months from the date of exam ination forms part of syllabus for exam ination, the new Schedule VI of the Companies Act, 1956 shall be applicable to June, 2012 exam ination.

15 April 2012 Rakesh Ji not applicable for May 2012 CA Exam but it is applicable for June 2012 CS Exams. You may check the link given above in this regard.
