Exact date for calculating tds delay interest

21 January 2012 Sir,
I would like to know the exact date/ month for calculating delay of tds payment.

For eg. due date is 07/11/2011

payment made on 07/01/2012.

Either it will be two months or three months interest to be considered for delay.

Please let me know.
