I AM A CA FIANL STUDENT. MY ATTEMPT IS DUE IN MAY11 BUT DUE TO RECENT NOTIFICATION ON ELIGIBILITY I AM ELIGIBLE IN NOV.10 ALSO. SO DO YOU RECOMMEND GIVING GROUP 1 IN NOV. AND THEN GROUP 2 IN MAY.11 OR BOTH THE GROUPS TOGETHER IN MAY.11.
MANY PEOPLE SAY IT'S AN OPPOTUNITY AND MANY SAY IT WILL COUNT AN ATTEMPT AND YOU WILL BE COUNTED AS IF YOU HAVE GIVEN MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS.
IN INDUSTRY WHAT IS THE TREND FOR RECRUITMENTS? AS IN WILL COMPANIES APPRECITAE THAT WE HAVE GIVEN OUR ATTEMPT IN NOV.10 EVEN IF IT WAS DUE IN MAY.11?
If you are through with your studies and are confident of clearing if you appear in the exams. You can go ahead and give one group in Nov 10 and other in May 11.
Or you could also prepare yourself thoroughly and give both groups together in May 11 and clear it in first attempt.
As far as industry is concerned, they normally dont understand about finer rules of giving an earlier attempt etc. They will only be concerned about the no. of attempts that you took for clearing the exams. So if you give both groups together in May 11 and clear it in first attempt. You would be seen as a first attempt Chartered.
