05 September 2013 Sir, I have converted from '' PCC TO IPCC''

I had served my articleship about 25 months,

Sir please suggest me that, can i give my final attempt after the completion of 33 months of my articleship ie in MAY 14 Examination.

Please guide me asap

05 September 2013 4) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Eligibility criteria for the Final Examination to be held in November, 2013 :

4.1 (i) The candidate should have passed the Intermediate Examination or Professional Education Examination - II./PCC/IPCC and

(ii) The candidate should have obtained Final Registration number from Board of studies of the concerned Regional office of the Institute and

4.2 (i) The candidate must have completed prescribed period of 3 years or 3½ years, as the case may be, of article training as on the date of filling the form;

or
(ii) The candidate must be due to complete the prescribed period of 3 years or 3½ years, as the case may be, of article training including excess leave, if any, on or before 31-10- 2013; or

(iii) The candidate must be in service as on 01-11-2013 and serving the last twelve months of articled training including excess leave.,If any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 31-10-2014. (for PE-II stream student and PE-II stream students converted to IPCC) or

(iv) The candidate must be in service as on 01-11-2013 and serving the last six months of articled training including excess leave, If any, and due to complete 3½ years on or before 30-04-2014. (for PCC stream student) (Certificate of service to this effect should be sent to Additional Secretary (Exam) by 15th December, 2013) or

(v) The candidate must be in service as on 01-11-2013 and serving the last six months of training including excess leave. If any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 30-04-2014. ( for Intermediate IPCC student) (Certificate of service to this effect should be sent to Additional Secretary(Exam) by 15th December, 2013 or

(vi) The candidate must be in service as on 01-11-2013 and serving the last twelve months of training including excess leave. If any, and due to complete 3½ years articleship on or before 31-10-2014. (for students converted from PE-II to PCC as well as students converted from PE-II to PCC and then to IPCC) (Certificate of service to this effect should be sent to Additional Secretary(Exam) by 15th December, 2013). or

Candidates who have taken termination are advised to re-register for the balance period of training so as to be in service as on 01-11-2013 and to complete 3 years or 3½ years of training (including excess leave taken, if any) on or before 30-04-2014 or 31-10-2014 as the case may be.

According to the above clause (iv) you are not eligible for May 2014 exams because of as on 1-5-2014 you are under going your last 9 months of articleship training period. Those who under going of last six months of articleship training period including excess leaves if any as on 1-5-2014 those only eligible for May 2014 exams since you are not eligible for May 2014 and eligible for Nov 2014.

I think in last week i saw your same query and replied to you but still you posted it so i thinking you didn't understand or doesn't satisfied with the answer thus i provided you the exam eligibility guidelines by the ICAI for November 2013 based on that compute your eligibility and its attempt.
