Please Explain there are surcharge and eduction cess are applicable or not in case of tds

07 November 2009 Dear Rakesh Ji, From 01.10.2009 there is no Surcharge & Education Cess on TDS. except Salary. It means when you are Deducting TDS on Salary , then Surcharge & Education Cess will also applicable.
