Duty calculation on mrp value

Dear All Member,
we have sale the products on MRP value after taking abatement 35% to ultimate consumer. My doubt regarding MRP price off ( example shampoo bottle sold on MRP 42/- but now Hindustan unilever decide to sale the same product with price off Rs. 7/- on MRP ) at this stage we are in some confusion regarding charging of ED on which MRP value 42/- or (42-7=35/-) we are also mention on bottle rapper MRP 42 /-with cross sign and MRP 35/- without cross Sign.
Please advice to me for correct practice.
