will direct tax code be applicable for may 2012 CA - IPCC exam?

No, direct tax code will not be applicable for May, 2012 exams. Finance Act 2011 shall be applicable.

direct tax code only proposed at now. DTC not applicable in india at present. it may be applicable in future period e.i. 2012 or 2013.

The direct tax code has still not been implemented. It is proposed to be implemented from the FY 2012-13. It is proposed to be presented in the Budget 2012.
So, the same will not be applicable for May, 2012 exams.
