I have an offer to work with a MSC company in Malaysia where I will be exempt from Income tax in Malaysia. I will be transferring most of my income there back to India every month for use by my folks. Will this money be taxed in India?

Remmitances are not taxable for NRI. If you go out of India in a month or two and your stay in India will not be more than 182 days during the F Y 2011-12 then you will become an NRI.

Money once received as income outside India shall loose its colour of income when the same is transferred to India.(SC in Keshav Mills Ltd.)
