15 October 2009 Distinction between the terms BOND and DEBENTURE? Please answer deeply and descriptly.

16 October 2009 Bond carry most of the feature like debenture.there is very thin line between which make difference

Bonds are issued by Govt., Public Sector Co. where as Debenture are issued only by Private companies

Rest all the features like security,marketable , interest are matched with each other
