Dear All, We have item rate 425, excise rate is 6% and we are giving 25% discount so should i give discount on 425 or after including duty?? VAT is also there (4%) kindly suggest me

There are companies which pass discount on basic price (i.e without ED element) and some companies adding ED. So, it is based on the mutual agreement between the parties. But CD is allowable on inclusive of ED price.
