Director in a pvt ltd company beyond indian jurisdiction.

08 August 2014 when an Indian resident is nomionated as a honorary director, not drawing remuneration, nor having pecunary interest in the said company, does he have right to ask the companies banker to provide access to the data to the Indian income tax authorities.

the said bank account was closed a few years prior to the demand by the IT dept just to understand the issue better.

08 August 2014 until and unless he has been conferred such power in memorandum and articles of association he can not ask company's banker.
