Can a central government employee can be the director a any company
26 March 2011
No restriction as such under the Companies Act. However if the rules of employment of Central Government contains any restrictive provisions with regard to acceptance of any outside employment whether part time or full time, then such an employee cannot accept appointment as director of any company as per the employment contract.
