07 May 2010 Respected Sir/Ma'am,

My question is relating to Income from House Property. I explain situation through example which is given below:

Suppose Mr.X has four houses. He consideres any one property out of four self-occupied.

So, other three property are considered deemed to be let out as per Income Tax Act. We have to calculate tax on the same.

So, Is there any provision to avoid tax on property which is deemed let out?

Please give answer in brief what practically should I do to avoid tax?

Thanks in advance.

07 May 2010 The best way was to take the house in the name of husband and wife ( if married) so tht can claim 2 as self occupied.
I am sorry but right noe nothing can be done...
