Hello, could you explain me the computation of Branch Profits for taxability @ 15% as per DTC? Whether MAT provisions are applicable to to Foreign Companies not having any branch or office in India? If possibe, please tell me the link where I can find these details.

The position over branch profit tax computation is still not clear.
There is a ruling of AAR that MAT is not applicable over the foreign companies which do not have branch or office in India.
