Direct entry in ca (ipcc)?

05 April 2013 Sir my name is Amit and ihave scored 38.6 % in my B.com degree. but Idid PGDBA(Symbiosis council of distance learning )dual specialisation in Finance and HR with more than 62%.SCDL is recognised by DEC. I also did GNIIT(Soft eng) with 60%. I have posted this question few days back but no one seems to settle my query as one sees my marks in b.com degree how one can study further with these many marks.At that time iwas under severe depression problem and was under medication.Any how even under sedatives i some how managed to pass my b.com degree which was looking a herculours task but later on I did PGDBA(MBALevel) anf GNIIT(MCAlevel) which i have indicated above. But right now iam having a stable mind and i have left medication which ihave taken for more than 12YRS.I have recently enrolled for Company secretaryship course doing reasonably doing well. The question is wheather iam eligible for direct entry in CA(IPCC)? on the basis of PGDBA(SYMBIOSIS)because on the basis of my B.com degree i will not get it iknow thatand as per the notification OF ICAI for direct entry(open universities) are recognised please reply at the earliest Symbiosis council of distance education is an autononous body affilated to symbiosis international university.Please help me. I t is high time to act and no more planning .The Crux of PGDBA is donot think . donot plan much.make short targets and achieve it.Conclusion (JUST DO IT) Thanks and Regards. 24 May 2013 The barometer as fixed by the ICAI for direct entry is based on marks obtained in B.Com Examination and this has been by an act of Parliament. No one is above the act and that too passed by the parliament of India. You might have secured 100% marks in any other examination but that will not serve the purpose. The examination is not considered equivalent to B. Com. If any University give you the certificate that the examination as passed by you is equal to B. Com or above B. Com with the subjects taken by you, the ICAI may consider.

If you are so furustarated than kindly refer the matter to the Secretary, ICAI. The only answer can be given by ICAI

with most humble respect,i will like to bring to your attention that i have already contacted the ICAI -BOS, and as per recent notification where any person like me who has not done well in B.com with 38.6% but has managed to get PG degree from distance learning with more than 60% is eligible for CA(IPCC). I have taken admission in chartered accountancy.Any course wheather it is MA/MSC/PGDM/PGDBA/M.B.A recognised by Distance education council is eligible for direct entry in CA (IPCC).Sir before going to ICAI. i contacted number of coaching centers but nobody gave me a clear picture.
Sir it seems god has given me an opportunity to prove my worth in my own eyes.Sir, iam not frustated iam fighter and you will be glad to know that i have cleared F1 to F9 papers OF ACCA with flying colors which has given me tremendous confidence.The barometer which you are talking about has changed in ICAI.They have considered me as anon commerce PG which requires minimum 60% for direct entry. Idid my PGDBA with 78%.(TWO year cousre recognised by DEC.My intentions are not to retaliate but to share the information with you.
