22 January 2012 Dear Sir

who can sign degitaly on DIN1?

applicant can degitally sign on DIN1 if they are not CA/CS/CWA?

22 January 2012 The e-Form DIN 1 should be digitally signed by a practicing professional (CA/ CS/ CWA).
Even if applicant is a CA/CS/CWA he can not himself digitally sign on DIN1

22 January 2012 Agree with the expert...

23 January 2012 As per my view, Apart From the persons named By Mr. Sanjay, a Company Secretary (Who is member of ICSI) in whole time Employment having DSC can sign the E-Form DIN 1.

23 January 2012 Agree with Jitendra Ji...Good Additi...
Further, secretary (who is member of ICSI) in whole time employment having DSC can sign E-form DIN1 only in case of existing company in which applicant is to be associated. In case of DIN1 for new company the question of same does not arise.

23 January 2012 Exactly Sir.

Fully Agreed.

23 January 2012 Jitendra is also correct.
But in case of DIN is certified by Company Secretary in whole time employment, the documents attached shall be certified by offical gazette.

23 January 2012 Dear Expert,

In case DIN 1 is signed by CS in Whole Time Employment, Docs attached can be attested either by Applicant or duly attested by
either Public Notary or a Gazette Officer of a Government

23 January 2012 Dear Jitendra..

If eForm is digitally signed by a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CWA) or

If eForm is digitally signed by secretary (who is member of ICSI), in whole time employment of
existing company
The supporting documents attached shall be either self attested by the applicant or duly attested by
