11 April 2012 i have received a demand notice of arrear of tax under section 143(1) from income tax deparmentfor the year 2004-05.
The tax which they Demand as arrear is Rs 15324/- but i had deposited only Rs 320 in 2004-05 plz guide me what to do...

11 April 2012 see the demand note, how the demand is calculated.

If some tds credit is not given then produce TDS certifacte.

Or see whether any income is added to ur return for that year.
