26 August 2016 Sir/Ma'amI have completed my CA and planing to go for a degree course but confused about which course from the following two should I do :1. IFRS2. DISA / ISAI want do a couse that help me in my career as statutory auditor.Furthermore I want to know is degree course offered ICAI beneficial . If not then from which institution I can do for the above mentioned course. Thanking you in advance

26 August 2016 Dear Rashi, You should go for ISA 2.0 as in coming scenario it's demand will increase very sharply. it will make u sharp in technical also and icai degree has different value. kindly like if my response has helped you

04 September 2016 The additional courses which you intend to take up is determined on the type of client base you have or prospective clients you wish to cater to. IFRS is a certification course and if you are going to pursue your career in Financial Reporting and Audits, then IFRS is a key tool which will help you in the long run.

If you are into Practice and have many Technology related company and willing to offer you opportunities, then being a system auditor can get you good remuneration. In India, DISA is one of the courses pursued to get empanelled for Bank / CO-operative Society / CAG Audits. Unless you have good network to perform IS Audit the scope is limited.
