11 May 2010 Is there any new rule by which previous Deferred Revenue expenditure has to be written off entirely in current year(f.y. 08-09 or f.y.07-08)

11 May 2010 there is no such rule.

There is a recent case law whereby in income tax act deferred revenue expenses are allowable in the year which they are incurred irrespective of whether they are written of in the books or not.
