Please let me know is it compulsory to show income from my second property which is lying vacant and purely for the purpose of investment.

If i treat it Deemed let out property then pls let me know the valuation of rent. Purchase date 30.11.2011, city Delhi

05 August 2012 Why you have purchased in your name it should have been purchased in the name of your wife or your HUF.

If the property was previously let out then it is to be calculated. If it is vacant then you can show as self occupied
