80DD- If exp.& Subscription is less than 50000/750000 whether even then 50000/75000b will qualify for deuction??
What will happen in case of blind member (HUF) no exp. has been incurred???

12 December 2007 As per section 80DD,where an assessee supports a specified person where such person is suffering from specified diseases, assessee is entitled for a deduction of 50000/75000.The section does not preclude the deduction even if the expenses incurred are less than the amount specified. In case a member of HUF is suffering from specified disease, the intent is to support such person by his living or medicines and hence deduction is available.

12 December 2007 Means we are not required to present any bill & exp. against this deduction??
