Deduction u/s 35(1) (ii) of it act 1961

04 July 2012 Please clarify me the following doubts....

1. Can an INDIVIDUAL Assesse, donate for scientific research U/s 35(1)(ii), who have only SALARY Income.

2. If he can donate please explain me how much weighted deduction he will get and in which ITR form we have to file his IT Return.

Note: In ITR-1 & 2 there is no separate Sec. for claiming Deduction U/s 35(1)(ii).

It is available u/s 80GGA.
