Training is compulsory, but if you can show experience in compliance related matter in a company fulfill the condition prescribed by the Institute then you can apply for the exemption. The period of training started from completing Inter or Executive exam or you also have the option to do training after passing out final exam.

### Duration of Training: 1. **Executive Programme Level**: Before starting the practical training, you must clear the Executive Programme level of the CS course.
2. **Practical Training (Articleship)**: After clearing the Executive Programme, you need to undergo practical training, also known as articleship. The duration of articleship is: - For students registering under the old syllabus: 12 months of practical training. - For students registering under the new syllabus: 15 months of practical training.
3. **Training Period**: You can start your practical training after passing the Executive Programme exams. It's important to note that practical training must be completed before appearing for the Professional Programme exams.
### Conditions for Training: - **Registered Training**: You must be registered as a student with ICSI and have cleared the Executive Programme to commence practical training.

- **Training Report**: You are required to submit a Training Report to ICSI at the end of your practical training, signed by your training principal or employer.

### Before or After Final Exam: - Practical training (articleship) is completed before appearing for the Professional Programme exams. It is a prerequisite for eligibility to appear in the Professional Programme exams.
