01 November 2013 which of these types of errors are not detected during bank reconciliation statement
A)cash embezzlement by cashier
B)cash deposited but not credited by bank
C)casting mistakes in bank column of cash book
D)interest or commission charged by bank but not accounted in cash book

but according to points under importance of bank reconciliation statement:"frauds,if any,can be detected"
then,how is the answer correct?

01 November 2013 See,BRS is prepared to reconcile the differences of recordings in cash book & bank statements.If something is nowhere recorded ,how it can be detected without indepth investigations based upon certain facts & circumstances.BRS considers the past data & not what can be detected in future
