Hello Myself Swarali. I completed CA in india and was doing job in India.Now i am in USA with my husband. I am on dependent Visa (H4). So cant do job.I am here 2 years from now. I can extent my stay. Can anybody suggest which course should i do?.Which will be useful in India later. Thanks in advance.

I see the difficulty the other way round. It depends upon your strength and weakness. Yes, they say that CFA is difficult and more time consuming than CPA, but I personally like CFA and also pursuing the same, Cleared Level 1 also.
Both the course are vast and equipped with lots of good knowledge and career advancement. Again as per my previous comment if you want to shape your career in Investment banking (say Equity research, M&A, Share Market, Portfolio Manager) then you should opt for CFA and CPA is more about Taxation, accounting, Auditing, and other..
At present and as per my analysis CFA is more preferred (More job opportunities and good Salary Packages) in India than CPA.
Regarding CPA classes- You should join it as it is way different than our CA. Becker classes in USA would be good I think.

Thanks a lot. Congratulations for clearing level 1 of CFA Actually I dont know much about CFA. May be that's why it seems difficult. Where can i get the information about CFA. Then i will compare it.
