I bought a laptop 3 years ago @ 35,000 rupees for personal use. Today after 3 years I started using it for business purpose. What will be the cost of that laptop for me to determine depreciation on it.

find out the WDV as if the depreciation has been charged for these years, and then you can use this WDV as the value at which it is transferred to your business
