27 October 2012 1.What are the consequences if a member of ICAI while holding COP is not practicing???

2.Is there any time limit within which a CA holding cop should start practice??

Under CA Regulations, 1988 there is no time period define for this.

27 October 2012 Till you pay the fee for COP whether you do practice or not in no manner any action is taken against the CA but while holding COP if the CA does business then the professional misconduct law shall apply
