22 July 2010 I'm not able to find the head under which I'll put the income received as 'consultancy fee' in ITR 4...

Can anyone help..

22 July 2010 If it is main business then it will be Sales/ Gross receipts of business or profession (Net of returns and refunds and duty or tax, if any)

22 July 2010 No.. its not main business. Worked for two organisations on contract for few months as consultant. Received payment as 'consultancy fee'

22 July 2010 Then show it as other income in P & L in ITR

22 July 2010 If your business is based on service than put it in sales and other wise add to other income.
