03 September 2010 Whethar service tax creadit is applicable in case if we consider composit tax rate @4.12%

I wanna clear my concept applicablity of VAT and Service tax ? is there any book in which we can get the practical Examples with concept

03 September 2010 yes. While claiming Composition scheme under works contract also you can claim the CENVAT credit, please refer the circular No.96/7/2007-ST DT:23.8.2007 & B1/16/2007-TRU DT:22.5.2007
