As per the Citizenship Act, 1955, only natural persons can be “Citizen” and not any juristic persons like corporations (S.T.C. v. C.T.O., AIR 1963 S.C. 1811).
And therefore, as a Company is an Artificial Person or as above said a juristic person and not a natural person, it can not get the status of citizenship of the country.
