TDS has been deducted in the assessment year 2007-08. the above TDS deducted not been claimed till date. Can it be claimed in this assessment year 2011-12 ? Plz explain this with relevant Provision under the Income Tax Act 1961 with corresponding Case Laws. Is there any Time period for claiming such TDS.

TDS claim should be backed by income as per section 199. So if income will be shown in the current year then TDS can be claimed in the current year also though it relates to earlier year.
