17 November 2010 Can a CA who is already a proprietor of his own firm can become a partner in other CA firms?
What r the benefits of becoming partners in other firms also? which r the drabacks?

Plaease reply urgently.

17 November 2010 ya he can become the partner in any no. of firms.

There is no restrictions he may became a partner in 2 or more firms also at a time

Benifits were to get the banks audits and reputation etc. but i am not sure about the benifits. it will differ based on circumstances

17 November 2010 YES, a CA who is already having his own propritorship can become partner in other firm.

By merely becoming partner in another firm, there is no expressed benefits or drawbacks. That is purely depend on the terms and reasons why he becomes partner in another firm?
