Can anyone tell me the procedures for change of name of assessee in SERVICE TAX. He has regesitered as proprietorship firm now he wants to change the name as his . . Please tell me the procedures clearly. .

You have to amend your ST-1 online.(www.aces.gov.in) Then the documents are required to be submitted in concerned division along with signed copy of ST-1.
