Change in the name of proprietory concern

07 June 2012 The Proprietor and the address of the business is same as was at the time of registration. However he wants to change the name of his Proprietory concern to some other name.
so, Kindly suggest the detailed procedure for change in the name of Proprietory concern under MVAT Act,2002.

07 June 2012 First decide the new name , then 1st apply for name correction for Shop act liscence,

after amending shop act liscence , apply for name change in VAT RC with proof of shop act liscence.

Return the original RC and apply for new one.
