01 June 2014 Hi!!

Please clarify whether a company can take Cenvat credit of service tax payable covered under reverse charge (Partial & Full reverse charge both)?

02 June 2014 A company can take the cenvat credit on full amount of input services paid under reverse charge system but services should be related to manufacturing activity.

04 June 2014 Thanks for earlier answer can you please give some example of activities where manufacturing unit can take credit under reverse charge? Also can t manufacturing entity claim credit of reverse charge under GTA?

16 June 2014 Yes, you can take the cenvat credit on GTA also.
