In case of first & second stage dealer , is is compulsory that material must enter dealers registered premiss before he takes cenvat credit?
When he can issues excise invoice (in respect recipt of material)?

05 February 2011 Yes entry of material is compulsory.

Invoice can be raised after taking the material in stock, However input credit may be taken after 24 hours.
