Yes, You can take 50% cenvat credit on Batteries provided it should be used during used directly or indirectly related with finish products or manufacturing process.
If the batteries are used in the Motor vehicles are not allowed for credit but is is used for the Fork-Lift used within the factory premises only, are allowed for Cenvat.
