hav imported a machinery so CVD is charged @10cent and additional duty
@4 cent. So are these both duty eligible for setoff against service
tax??

29 December 2013 CVD is not eligible for deduction, Additional duty you can claim 50% during the procurement year and balance 50% in subsequent year.
