Centralised registration

14 October 2011 A company having a centralised billing and accounting system has wrongly obtained service tax registration of all the branches across india but now it wants to go for the centralised service tax registration. I want to know the procedure to do same.

14 October 2011 As i think, you should go to the service tax department and meet with the range superintendence of premises or office from where centralized billing or accounting is done and discuss the above case. He or she may suitably guide you on the above issue.

14 October 2011 centralized registration will be issued by the service tax department where you want to maintain the registration records,

submit all branch documents with them, and after getting the centralized registration, surrender the branchwise registrations.
