21 December 2010 Dear Sir,

I have done BCOM in 2003. & registered for CA PE II. Due to financial problems,I quit. Is it possible me to do it now alogwith job. If yes, what will be the procedure to register? Can I get admission to IPCC directly?

13 January 2011 In your present circumstances; better you go for ICWA.

Your job would be considered as a training and it is also very rewarding professional course.

If you are not in an organized business enterprise; then firstly change your job to that type of organisation and visit local ICWAI chapter to know more about it.

With the help of self study; you can easily qualify for ICWA.

ANSWER :

You are already 5 years late.

Thank God that still you can think about your right career and there are chances to fulfill your dream.

Also it is great that you say 4 more years to invest (and not to waste).

A difference of excess cost of Rs. 15-20 thousands is immaterial if you can have professional degree.

You should feel proud to be Indian that what you can't have 15 grams gold, in that cost you will have a professional qualification in your hands if you start self study now.

I could not understand why students ask another alternative when most suitable course is already suggested according to their circumstances.

Do you think that MBA's cost is less ?

At one time you are not in a position to pay cost of CWA and still you wish to go for MBA where lacs of rupees are required if you join or "manage to join" some premier educational institutions.

After joining CWA, please take care of :

Don't just pass. Read the subjects with great zeal and focus on learning. Only with this; you would be able to make your career bright.
