Career break

This query is : Resolved

18 December 2011 I have worked for 1 and 1/2 year after completion of CA (1 year as financial analyst and 6 months in BIG 4)and have taken 6 months break for preparing for Civil Services. I would like to go back to job now. Can you please tell me the impact of this break in my career and also how should I manage this break in the interviews.
Thanks in advance.

18 December 2011 Dear Sir,
Ur problem is really unstructured in nature.
The state of economy of not good and jobs are not flowing like storms.
it is better to avoid this fact altogether in interview, u can quote that u were working on assignment basis or some thing else.
Anyways best of luck for ur Civil Services Mains result.

18 December 2011 Can you please reply what do u mean by unstructured? Will it be a problem if I say that I have gone for preparing for civils/doing family business/need to stay at house for personal reasons or can u give any better suggestion?

21 December 2011 First you decide your career...... whether you want to job now or again you want to prepare for civil services. I feel there is nothing wrong in agreeing the truth. You can tell that you have appeared for Civils and due to economic problems you want to do the job.
