A Long term capital Gain Was invested in land & thereafter construction on same land. The Assessee duly completed construction in third year in which he was to complete the house.
Now the assesse wishes to know wether his his 3 year period to hold new house commences when he purchased the land for construction or from the date when completed the construction of house

On the date of completion of construction of house as from that time the assessee has been using the property i. e. used by the assessee.
