05 October 2017 Dividends are tax exempt. dividends reinvested in a scheme on a particular day will be treated as Fresh purchases and incidence of capital gains from any sale of such funds will be determined on basis of this date only.

05 October 2017 In case of equity mutual fund investments, All the dividends received and reinvested by you till September 2015 will be long term in nature as youhave redeemed the investments in October 2016.

05 October 2017 In case of debt mutual fund investments, All the dividends received and reinvested by you till September 2013 will be long term in nature as you have redeemed the investments in October 2016

05 October 2017 purchases after Sep 2015 (in case of equity mf) and Sep 2013(in case of debt fund investments), will be treated as short term
