16 October 2011 The Sub Registrar's Office have what is called guideline value for all the properties for all years. Guideline value can be taken as the market value and this is what is usually referred to by the Assessing Officers.

Alternatively, you can consult any approved valuer and get the valuation done from him. This is a more feasible option.
