The taxation law has been divided into sections and schedules for convenience purposes. The matter that can be tabulated is provided in the schedules and the rest as sections. The chronology of these sections are depending on the topic that the income tax law deals with.
In simple words..... when you are going to find a new place, first you search for the state in which the desired place is located, then for the district, then for the nearest town / city, then the exact location. After finding the same you start navigating. In the same way, you give some time for understanding the structure or arrangement of the law of the income tax. Study the structure thoroughly after that you start reading the law.
Learning the English letters A to Z were found difficult during childhood days and feeling very easy by us now. There is no shortcut to learn, only way is keep on pursue the same consistently. The required element here is setting up the goal. If you are goal seeker, you definitely find the way.
At the time of practicing the income tax law you definitely find it easy.
Note: It is a vulnerable mistake of quoting wrong sections during the examination, as the examiner may understands that you does not know about topic you are asked for as well as the topic you quoted wrongly.
